I’ve been subscribe to the Sephora Play box for almost a year now. I really like it. It’s a monthly subscription box for only $10. Each box comes with 5-6 sample size products. The reason I love this subscription is because it’s a great way to try new products. And when I get products I’ve tried before that I really like I save them for when I travel. Super easy and convenient.
Every box comes with a pamphlet that shows you what items will be in your box and descriptions on how to use the product.
First product is from Peace Out. I’ve never tried it before and I’m interested in trying. This comes with 6 acne healing dots. All you have to do is make sure you clean your face and then place a dot over a blemish. It does say to wear for at least 6 hours so it’s perfect for nighttime use.
Next we have Skinfix Redness Recovery+ Antioxidant Redness Treatment Overnight Mask. This is another product I haven’t tried yet. I personally love a good overnight mask. I have combination skin but in the harsh New England winters my face gets really dry so hydrating masks are my go to. I’ve been using this product for about a week and I really like it.
Third Product is Madison Margiela “Replica” Whispers in the Library. I really like this scent. It’s a warm woodsy scent. I always save the samples of perfumes for when I travel. They are super small and compact. Perfect for on the go.
Fourth we have Living Proof Full Thickening Cream. I’ve used this product before and I do like it. It’s lightweight and doesn’t make my hair greasy. Which is great because my hair can get greasy after a few days of styling it.
Next is a lipstick in Tolède from NARS. I have a few lipsticks from NARS already and they are really great. This one is a satin so it’s going to be really comfortable on the lips. The shade is really pretty. It’s a nice pinky nude.
Last product is from Clinique. It’s the High Impact Mascara. It’s great for volume and length. I’ve used this one many times and i really like it. So because I like it I’m saving this one for a trip I have coming up in the new year. It will be easy to pack away and won’t take up a lot of space.
Over all like I said up top I really love testing new products without having to deal with the sometimes heavy price tag that comes along with it. So every month I get a new box with new products to try. I’ve discovered some amazing products that I’ve gone back and purchased full size. For $10 a month it’s a great treat. It’s also great for someone who’s a beginner.
